I am an absolute book junkie and I am passionate about my favorite books! That being said, my taste in lit is all over the place. I like to switch between reading serial killer thrillers, to romantic comedy type books, and occasional historical fiction. I plan to share with you what I'm reading currently and my book reviews, but for now, here are some of my all time faves:

The Guernsey and Literary Potato Peel Society- This is not a very well known book but it is my FAVORITE BOOK OF ALL TIME (thanks for sending this to me, Grandmother)!! One of the only books I will re-read. I am up to 3 times ;) It is in the format of letters written back and forth between several people at the time of the Holocaust. It's a feel good read (despite being during a tragic time period). The characters are so relatable- definitely one of those books where you feel really attached to the characters, and have a "reading hangover" when you finish (or am I the only person who gets those...?)

The Hypnotist's Love Story- I will read anything by Liane Moriarty. I always get so sucked into her characters and story. I've read all of her books and this is my absolute favorite- you get the perspective of both the new girlfriend, and the crazy, stalker ex-girlfriend of one man. And you will want to be best friends with BOTH of them!

Helter Skelter- Um yeah, total detour here. This is a nonfiction account written by the prosecutor of Charles Manson and the other members of the Manson Family. It's creepy and intriguing: everything you want out of a book! Also can't wait to read The Girls, a novel based on the female members of the Manson family.

The Catcher in the Rye- This is my favorite "classic" (and the only assigned book in high school that I actually read). Follow Holden Caulfield for three days around NYC; you're sure to connect with this coming of age tale. I'm currently reading another novel by Salinger- Franny and Zooey. I'll post a review when I finish it!

We Were Liars - See if you can guess the ending on this one... I definitely didn't. There's just  something fascinating about books that feature wealthy families with big secrets.. don't you agree?

So, have you read any of these? Please share your take if you have! What are your favorite books?

Love, Bailey
